Hi Florida board!! I am a surgical transplant!!

I just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself. I am Connie, I live in Gulfport, MS. DH is military, and we are from PA originally. I will be having my surgery in Pensacola. Dr. Lord is my doc, boy does he seem terrific. I get to meet him at my consult on the 7th of July. I am soooooo excited! I will be popping in here to check up on things. Have a great day everyone!

Where is your doctor located? I know of someone who is having a hard time finding a doctor in Pensacola. She has Healthease. Can you please email her at [email protected]. I live in South Florida and she is thinking about traveling way out here to find someone. Congrats on your consult date. I just received a phone call today. They moved my appointment up to July 7th as well. I am so happy. The 7th can't come around fast enough for me. Let me know how it goes.

I know what you mean about it not coming soon enough Is this your consult date, or have you already done that? I emailed your friend with the indo. I am not sure what insurance he takes (other than mine Thanks for the welcome. Good luck!

Hi and thank you so much Cherina and Connie. I have attended Dr. lords seminar last year and yes i have heard wonderful things about him, his staff is also very nice. He DOES NOT accept Healthease and when my gastro doctor called them to find out if they knew of any bariatric surgeon who accepts Healease, their reply was to check on OBESITY Help (right here) back to square one. I feel so hopeless. GOD Bless Luci

Hi Connie .. welcome to the board!!! My DH is military as well, but retired, he says after 33 1/2 years (active and reserve) he was going to make a career out of it but changed his mind. The date of your consult is the date of my 1 month post-op appt. Will be thinking of you then. Good Luck!!! Karen W
