WLS Near Avon Park??? Help!

Hi , I was wondering if anyone Knows a pcp, that would refer a person for WLS, and to what surgeon which hospital that is close? Thanks for all help. Also I have Medicare. Thanks Tina

Hi Katenna, I live in Sebring, and I went up to Ocala for my wls inJan 06. I didn't get a referal from a dr, I just scheduled an appt. with Dr Overcash, and he took me. I don'y know about medicare and that stuff. I have lost alittle over 80 lbs. Good Luck with your journey Peggy

I'm from Avon Park and I had my surgery with Dr. Rehnke in St. Petersburg. I'm not sure about him and medicare though. My neighbor across the street also had surgery and had medicare but her doctor is located in Tampa. Sorry I can't be of better assistance. I wish you luck! Keke
