I'm Free

Well I had my surgery January 2005. Yesterday after losing half my body weight, 352 to 176, the doctor set me free. I met the goal he set for me. I still want to lose 20 more lbs, but I have never had a doctor tell me they were happy with my weight. What a great moment. Jenn

Jenn, Congrats! We share the same surgery month so I understand your joy! It has been an amazing 17 months hasn't it? It feels so weird when the doctor compliments me on my weight loss and tells me I'm doing good. So unllike the many past years where I've heard "you need to lose weight and the (fill in the blank) problem will go away" And after all those years, thanks to wls I found out the doctors are right! Keep up the good work and those last 20 lbs. will disappear soon, too! Vickie J.
