Monday is my big day and I am just sick to my stomach. Cannot get past the jitters! I am in no way doubting my decision to have this surgery, I am just nervous. This is my last resort and I am incredibly scared that I will blow this too! If I do, that will mean I am destined to be obese for ALL of my life.

It is normal to be nervous. I know I was and probably everybody is. It will be so worth it though. This was the best decision I ever made. Do something to keep your mind off of surgery for a few hours.

Hi Peggy, WOW we are having surgery the same day. Awesome ...:0) I'm nervous too, but I have so many little things here and there to do. That I don't really think about surgery. Not until I go to bed and my mind can rest, then I get stomachache hahaha. I know everything will be 100 %. I wish you all the luck and keep in touch. Have a nice day, Heidi

You're normal. hugs...just take a deep breath. Re read your blue book, and be sure you have what you need post op and in the hospital. I have some ideas on my profile if you haven't already checked it out. Dr Kim is wonderful. He changed my life, and beyond that he really cares for his patients. You will love celebration, the staff is so caring. Many nurses on the unit had the surgery themselves! I pray God's hand of peace and blessing upon you. That Dr Kim feels God's hand upon him and the nurses too. May you recover without complication and be up and walking quickly. In jesus' name, Amen blessings to both you dear people having surgery!
