OH Conference in Ft.Lauderdale 8/19/06

This was sent to me today as the location place: (I'll be looking for cheaper hotels) Mike, The conference is at the Westin in Fort Lauderdale. Rooms there for August 19th are 169.00 plus tax per night. If you are looking for something less expensive I could shop around for you if you would like. Jean All Star Travel

I would also remind all Florida residents to ask about FL resident discounts when booking rooms...ANYWHERE. You usually HAVE to ask....they won't tell you. I know last year someone at the confernce...not sure if it was at the host hotel...but they found out once they checked it that they offered a FL resident discount but it was too late to get it. there are alot of the smaller chain hotel and independants within i would say probably a 5-8 mile radius of the westin..if you are going to have a car theres no need to stay there and pay those high prices...especially since august is not season here..ill be looking forward to meeting some of you guys there...BOB
