I'M HAVING SURGERY ON TUESDAY!!!

I'm so happy I could just scream! I got a call Wednesday to tell me I could have my surgery on Wednesday (6/7). When I went to preop, they asked if I could move it up to Tuesday (6/6)! I've waited a year to have this done, worked with two surgeons, and two insurances. When I got accepted, there was no stopping it. I can't believe I only have two days until surgery. All the waiting, and screaming at insurance companies (AETNA stinks), calling people in the office who wouldn't do their job, being scheduled for surgery and then being canceled 3 days before, waiting, waiting, waiting; crying every time I was turned down (3 times).........it's all behind me now! I'll be having surgery with Dr. Jawad from Ocala in ORMC on Tuesday, and I can't wait to report back to all of you. Liz

that is so awesome! i hope to be screaming from the rooftops about my surgery date soon, just like you i'm going to overcash in ocala-have my consult tomorrow, as a matter of fact. this is also my second surgeon. the other one had issues with people like me (just at 40%bmi and had the thought that i could lose it on my own w/out surgery if i tried hard enough-grrrrrr). good luck to you, and please stick around with updates on your progress! ~kas
