Anybody in So FLA use Dr. Ronald Moore (Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation General Hosp.)?

He seems great, but I wanted to get some feedback from some of you who may have had WLS by him. I originally went to see him about a lapband, but have since changed my mind and want to get RNY. His staff is nice and I've been to one of his pre-op talks, as well as to a follow-up talk...so it looks like there is a lot of support from him and his staff. Comments from anyone?

No, sorry... But, I have decided to use Dr, Klein and Dr, Kolletta.... there in Boca... There whole office is great ... and you have 2 surgeons in the room at all times !

Have you looked him up under my surgeon (local resources) on top. You should see info from other paients who have had him that uses this website. I'm here in Hallandale, Fl. I have went to Dr. Bass seminar. He will be working out of Memorial regional Hospital. Why did you change you mind about getting the lap?

Hi - yes, I looked him up, but he's not registered so no info. seems to be available. I changed my mind about the lap because I love carbs and sweets and from what I've researched about the band, it may not help me with these issues and it will be easier for me to "cheat" with it. Plus, as a self-pay WLS candidate, I want to do all that I can to ensure that I have good results. I know the band is great for some people, but I don't think it will be the right tool for me.
