I was hoping to join one of the Support Group's I attend, Annual Picnic Outting at Ft. Desoto. They have every Memorial Weekend. But it's too soon to pu**** getting out.
I went to Kmart and was plumb tuckered out even with using the electric chair when I got home. I drive for the first time since having my two surgeries and almost fell over getting out of the truck. I've been told I'm not drinking enough yet. I getting in a half a gallon still working toward at least one gallon. I lost 27 lbs. in 15 days since receiving my RNY. So I guess it's still just short walking and resting for now.
Hope everyone that can, Have a Joyful Memorial Weekend but just take a Peaceful Moment to not only remember our Armed Forces but our Law Enforcement Officers too.
God Bless Everyone, Mike
Well..... I had plans for today, but woke up with an intestinal virus - YUCK! Needless to say I had to cancel all my plans to stay home. I called my surgeon's nurse to be sure I could take something OTC for the problem and she said I could take Amodium-AD. It seems to have helped but even though I've been sipping water all day I'm a bit dehydrated. The nurse told me there are a couple of stomach bugs going around, 1 lasts about 24 hours, the other several days. I'm hoping I've got the short one so I can enjoy at least part of this Memorial Day weekend.
Ya'll take a minute and remember the men & women who have served and those who currently serve in our armed forces. As the proud Aunt of an Army Ranger I hope you'll say a pray for the men & women who are in harms way today so that we can enjoy our holiday.
