I'm Approved

Hi Everyone, I received a verbal approval on Friday, however I was afraid to post it until I saw it in writing. Well, I am still waiting on the actual approval letter, but this morning it is on the Humana website. I am approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I will have a date very soon. The bariatric coordinator for Dr. Gallagher is out of the office until next Tuesday. I am not sure if Susan from Dr. Murr's office will schedule dates for Dr. Gallagher or not. I will find out. The approval was the big hurdle and I have jumped it. Thanks for all your support. Patty

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooo hooo!!!!!!!!!!! Getting approved is the most exciting thing!!! I got my approval letter in the mail the weekend Hurricane Katrina brushed by us in Miami, then with power outages and all, I didn't get to talk to the surgeon's office for almost a week!!! I had my surgery in October and then had a complication and had to have a second surgery (no big deal) and while in the hospital recuperating from that - Hurricane Wilma hit!!!! When I think back - the whole process has been a HOOT!!! Good luck to you! And always remember we are here to help!!! Carol
