Eglin AFB - Dr. Kasemsap

Does anyone have any contact info for them. I live in Gulfport, MS and cannot find anyone who accepts tricare prime, and they are not allowing you to go out of network - so I need a DOCTOR! Thanks. Connie

Connie, I don't know anything about Eglin AFB, but I am in Panama City which is about another 30-40 miles east. I am retired military and also use Tricare Prime. I just had a lap RNY procedure on 4/26/06 here in Panama City. The surgeon I used is Dr. Richard Wilson. He is part of the Surgical Associates of Northwest Florida practice and has had excellent succes with barriatric procedures. He is also a Tricare Prime provider and has a lady in his office (Christy) that deals with all the insurance issues. Hi Connie , Dr Kasemsap @ Eglin is leaving the area, so he is no longer doing the surgeries. I do not know if Eglin is getting another Surgeon to do the Gastric Bypass. We do have surgeons in the Pensacola area that take Tricare Prime. Humana has been referring patients to them. They are Dr. Nye and Dr. Lord.
