Has anyone had Biliopancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch?

Most people here had the BPD DS you mentioned. It's also referred to as the Hess DS and started in the 1980's. A smaller number here like myself had newer versions like the SADi DS (also called Single Loop DS) which is a simpler version but similar in many respects. There are also people here with other weight loss procedures (RNY, VSG) that help with advice or share their experiences.

My wife had a BPD/DS about twenty years ago. Up until covid shut things down, we continued to regularly attend the local support group run by Dr. Rabkin and later Dr. Keshishian, so have kept up with much of what has been going on in the DS world. What would you like to know?

1st support group/seminar - 8/03 (has it been that long?)
