DS Surgery 5/17 :)
Hello everyone!
I am new here and I am having my DS surgery 5/17. I'm so excited and so nervous all at the same time. I'm currently on day three of my two weeks of liquids before the big day. The first two days were brutal but its so much better today.
It's great to see so many veterans on here! I'm youngish (27) and its nice to see posts from people 5-10+ years with the DS doing great.

Yep, we've paved the way for sure!
Stock up on single-servings of many different protein shake brand and flavors, but don't purchase any large amounts of anything yet. Your taste may change drastically, and many realize that they have $60 worth of something they can't stand on the other side. Don't taste any of those single servings until after your surgery.
