Possible denial for lack of pre-op weight loss?
I found UHC to be very easy to work with when I had my DS. Hopefully your experience is the same. Nutritionists are useless, so once you fulfill whatever requirement your surgeon has of your use for them, fire the biotch.

I did some digging and found this:
"The individual must also meet the following criteria:
*Documentation of a motivated attempt of weight loss through a structured diet program, prior to bariatric
surgery, whi*****ludes physician or other health care provider notes and/or diet or weight loss logs from a
structured weight loss program for a minimum of 6 months; and
*Psychosocial-behavioral to provide screening and identification of risk factors or potential postoperative
challenges that may contribute to a poor postoperative outcome."
That relieves a lot of my worry. I have a few gaps in nut appointments, but have continued to see other drs in the program. I'm still going to fight the good fight.
Thanks to everyone.
