PatchMD?
YES! Because it's a heme iron, you can take with food, calcium and no wait periods. I would take it 15-30 min before bed, or in the morning with my first round of vitamins.

The peanut butter is pretty liquidy. The oil had separated and I had to shake the jar for a few minutes then stir well. You can also use an immersion blender to blend it in. I've started cutting back on the chia in the pudding, and putting a spoonful or two on the top of my container when I take it to work, so that I'm getting some chia into my guts that haven't already expanded.
When the Tender Iron quit working for me I switched to ProferrinES. When my iron totally tanked, I was taking all 3 and numbers were still going down. Then went in for 5 infusions. Remember to cut or bite the tablet in half for quicker release.

I used a one month supply of patches and had blood work done. That was a coincidence and it never occurred to me that a month would make a difference. What happened was elevated levels. Everything went up except iron and D.
My B12 was up by 1000 points. My surgeon asked what I was doing and I told him the patch.
My surgeon and his dietitian are on the board of ASMBS and his dietitian is working on a committee that is researching the patch for bariatric patients. They have studied many labs. They are currently not recommending the patch.
They have looked at the Unjury study which says that the weight of the patch is too light for the amounts of vitamins listed on the label. But they are concerned that people are absorbing them so well that toxic levels will build up with continued use.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
My PCP wanted me to quit my D and calcium for a couple of months and retest as my D was 107 and my calcium 10.4 (10.3 is top high). I stopped for 5 days and retook the test, my D was 88 and my calcium 9.4. Generally, when I take my labs, I stop all vits for 3-4 days, but forgot this time. It just shows how if you take your vits before blood test, they can really be jacked up. Could you guess how low my D and calcium would be after not taking them for 2 months?

I don't think the Patch has been around long enough in the WLS community to have people on it for 'years'. I have been on it 9 months and had good vitamin levels on my bloodwork. Yes it did bring up my D levels- which I've always struggled with. I also take liquid D.
