VSL#3 is a probiotic. It helps smooth out digestive issues.

Did you start with VSL#3?  I use a more limited generic probiotic but I wasn't ever trying to fix something in particular just for general stomach health.

What issues were you trying to resolve and how far out are you?

Loose stools and gas are the primary issues. I could refine my diet a bit, but even when I'm eating 100% as I should the issues still exist. I'm seven years out. I've found probiotics helpful, VSL#3 is the best I've tried.

Do you ever get constipated with such a high dosage?

I don't. Results vary from person to person.

I tried Primal Defense Ultra from Garden of Life and that caused horrible gas so I gave up on them.  Is there a breaking in period like that with the VLS#3?  As long as I eat right my gas isn't bad at all and I tend to be more constipated due to the calcium.  We are going to Disney next month and it would be nice not having to worry about my food choices so much.  May be worth a try.
