Dr. Esquerra/Dr. Ungson MBC

Does anyone know the story with Mexicali Bariatric Center? Dr. Ungson was doing the DS there taking the place of Dr. Aceves. Now Dr. Esquerra is performing the DS at MBC. Has anyone had a DS with Dr. Esquerra? Is he a highly recommended DS surgeon in Mexico?

Just wondering if there is a hidden story as to why Dr. Ungson decided to leave MBC and now Dr. Esquerra is at the DS helm.

There is no hidden story. Dr. Ungson accepted a position with the government. Dr. Esquerra had been working with him for a few years (I don't know exactly how long) before he left and has taken over the DS practice on his own now. Feedback about him has been uniformly positive. Likewise for the hospital.

Sadly, Dr. Aceves died in a plane crash.

This practice is an excellent choice for the DS.
