Dr. Hill- Saranac Lake NY
Hi everybody. Have any of you heard about Dr. Hill in Saranac Lake NY? I was quoted about 14k for a revision from VSG to DS. That makes him a real contender to compete with Dr. Esquerra who quoted me 8.5K. I would much rather have a US doc, plus I can drive there. It is about a 5hr drive but I feel that is better than a 5hr plane ride. Any input is greatly appreciated!
I've heard his name around here before and I don't recall any negatives.

I haven't said anything on a forum in YEARS . I have an appointment with him on the 30th of this month for the same thing. I haven't seen anything bad about him. I know his specialty is actually cardio/pulmonary but he also is good bariatric surgeon. I figure if my heart stops or I quit breathing who better to be on my insides. My insurance covers revisions though.. are you from out of the country?

I had Duodenal Switch with Dr. Hill in 2013. He is a very good surgeon, but the after care is not good at all. The requirements they tell you that you need are a joke. Do your own research and find a good doctor for after care and you will be fine.
This is a case of good cutter, but knows nothing about nutrition and vitamins.
