Doctors who perform Doudenal switch in Virginia

I was wondering if anyone knows of other Drs. in area that performs DS I went to see Dr.Entity in Vienna VA but he wanted me to pay 37,612.50 out of pocket due to me having medicare. Thanks for your help 

I don't know whether or not they accept Medicare, but you could call the office of Dr. Troy Glembot and Dr. James Wiedower of Wiinchester Bariatrics.

Finding surgeons who accept Medicare is a problem. There are definitely some out there, but you might have to travel. Since the DS has the best statistics of any bariatric surgery for percentage excess weight loss, maintenance of that weight loss (very important!) and for resolution of almost all comorbidities, IMHO the travel is worth the effort.

Dr. David Greenbaum practices out of NJ. He does virgin DS' as well as revisioins to DS. He accepts Medicare and will give you a courtesy telephone conversation. He has performed the DS on many out-of-state patients.
