Gathering more information

I had VSG surgery in August 2011. I have lost about 110 lbs. i have pretty much maintained my weight and have only gained about 10 15 lbs. i weigh about 223. i had gotten down to like 207-210. i even got down to 199. i have been trying to lose the same 20 25 lbs for 2 years now. i wanted to know the qualifications of this procedure. i really don't think that i would be a candidate because I only want to get down to 195 lbs. that was my own personal goal my surgeon wanted me down to 185 190 but i felt that was too much because of my height i am 5'11.

I think the requirements for DS after the VSG are the same: at least a 35 BMI with comorbidities.  You might want to read up on the DS at www.dsfacts.com. There is a list of good qualified DS surgeons on that site. You might want to consult with one or 2 and see how you might go about it.
