Just switched on 8/28/2014

I just wanted to say hi. I was switched by Dr Glembot and Dr Wiedower at Winchester Bariatric in Winchester VA. They've only done a few DS's (I was #3 at their home hospital) but they've done thousands of VSG's and RNY's, so I wasn't worried about being #3.

I'm down 8 pounds in the 4 days since surgery. My bowel function has finally decided to resume as of tonight.

Pain is under control with Lortab, though I'm sweating a lot. I'm doing my best to get fluids in.

I'm on full liquids until postop day 15, when I graduate to pureed foods for 4 weeks. So far I've eaten jello, broth, and sugar free pudding cups. My friend made me some soups that I'm going to try tomorrow.

So anyway, just saying hi.
