Happy Sunday everyone, off to work I go again

Bites:

Mocha coffee (chocolate protein powder mixed with coffee and still using almond milk)

yogurt

apple and cheese

peanut butter and jelly sandwich

cheezies

roast beef, pot and corn on cob with a bit of gravy

couple bits of cake and a small slice of pie - very small

Vites: all in - now I need a bigger container, I can't fit everything in with the new vit and probiotics

Exercites: went for a walk

question: Gina you have 2 protein coffees in the morning, can we absorb that much protein that fast?? And running after grandbabies, what wonderful exercites, they are my favorite :)

I'm drinking those protein coffees over a 2 hour period and I'm only using 30 grams of protein in each. Labs are doing great in protein, albumin and prealbumin, so I think I'm absorbing pretty well.  Dietitian wants me to keep doing 120 grams in protein shakes, otherwise my labs drop.  I actually have 3 protein coffees over a 4 to 5 hour period; like sipping water during that time. I do need to cut back on the carbs I snack on though.

Huneypie, you just brought back a long faded memory. My Nana, born & raised in Wales, always put milk in her tea.  She was like a real life Mary Poppins, or a least I thought so.  The amazing things that used to come out of her suitcase. Little tins of hard sweets, a tatting shuttle, licorice, dark, black, and in all sorts of shapes.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Funny that it's seen to be such an unusual thing in the US... I'm kinda weird over here for never having milk ;-)

I remember drinking a lot of tea with milk in my college days.  lol We were on a crazy kick. Now you're hanging with the cool kids if you have a chai tea latte.
