21 days and counting

ok so i have 21 days and surgery date...im starting to get just a lil bit nervous now.  i was in the hospital over the weekend. my blood sugar was 556! its down to around 300 now. every day is a struggle...i have been at this for 2 yrs now so i cant let anything stand in my way...

Good deal. Even if you don't walk out with the Diabetes in remission you have the best tool to get control and eventually have consistently normal blood sugar. I was routinely in the 7's with my HbA1c pre-op and after a year I am in the 4's. A much better outcome.

When you start to get too nervous just sit back and count the benefits. IT was totally worth it for me.

yea my dr said i wil prob walk out the hospital no longer needing insulin.  hopefully that will be the case. im sure within a month i will be off the neds.  i hope so anyway.  i dont even wanna tell yo uwhat my A1C was.
