Hi guys, 

BITES: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 protein coffees (60g) [heaping scoop of vanilla protein powder, 3 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 3 oz water and enough coffee to fill a 20 ounce blender bottle to the tip top X 2]
S - protein coffee (30g) and a cup of Greek yogur****bl of little blueberries and Splenda
S - 3/4 cup peanuts
L - protein shake [4 oz of 1/2 & 1/2, 4 oz of water and a heaping scoop of protein powder]
S - LaughingCow Babybel cheese (3)
D - pork stir fry w/green onions and zucchini (3oz of meat) Spices and such were gluten frees soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, white pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and some Truvia sweetener)
S - 1/2 cup CarbSmart ice cream

VITES:
morning batch: done
4 calcium batches: done
iron: done
evening batch: starting soon
heme iron: pending

EXERCITES:
none--busy at work

Hello Monday, 

Bites: 

Strawberry shake

2 eggs, 3 slices bacon, a 1/2 piece farmer type sausage

1 slice ww toast and an orange

cheese slices, cucumbers, sliced up sausage

chocolate protein drink with banana

(Junk Stuff )

Sugarless chocolate bar

2 mini coffee crisp bars

bag of coconut mini bars thingys

small ice cream sundae

strawberry ice cream milk shake

Vites: all in

Exercites: 30 min of interval training

Feelings: calorie count was like 2000 cal yesterday. So super disappointed in my self and the calories I burn from exercise I eat so I am not getting a head, feeling good about low carbing and getting rid of the sugars for the week. I spent the evening at work looking over what I have been eating and I realize I have lots of high protein stuff to chose to eat. So let the day begin and lets see how my report in tomorrow looks.

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

OK, better get on with this post, so Noreen can go ahead!! 

My lips are so much improved.  I can't believe that 3 days worth of 5,000mcg of biotin fixed 'em.  It says 'assists utlization of protein' on the pack, so that's interesting.  I wonder if taking biotin a couple of times a week would be OK - I obviously had a proper deficiency.  I don't mind doing more, but less obviously costs less. 

Just reading wikipedia, saying that eating raw egg whites causes a deficiency... I had about 4 raw egg whites about a month ago, the first and only ones post DS (meringue with Splenda which is only any good raw)... I wonder if this caused it.  I won't be doing that again - EVER!!

ETA - wikipedia says "However, deficiencies can be caused by consuming raw egg whites over a period of MONTHS to YEARS."  I'm guessing 4 raw egg whites for me equated to a normy consuming them for months or years!!   I think I was teetering on deficient anyway, which is why I had a box of it in the house.

I'm amazed how you went with your gut about the issue being a biotin deficiency and fixed it. I'm impressed!
