I work A LOT of hours, and need fast microwavable food. I do not want to cook- aside from hiring a personal chef- TV dinners are the best way to go (at least for now).

Atkins meals are ok, has anyone tried any other Low carb TV dinners?

FYI I have done salads with protein- so I'm good in that department.

I would do a chicken breast in he microwave instead of a microwave dinner. Use Mrs. Dash - doesn't really take much longer than a dinner
and you can start out with it frozen.  I buy a family pack size and put them in baggies for the feezer so I could take out just one.

I am just not a big fan of the TV dinners and this doesn't really fell like cooking to me.

My version of a 'fast' dinner is a steak since it only takes 3-6 minutes depending on thickness.

I do get tired of steak though (I *hate* chicken and pork), so if anyone does have ideas i'd like some too.

I buy the Hormel refrigerated entrees. Basically meat and a little sauce in a package you can microwave. It usually is 3 servings in a container, so you can separate it into individual containers and add some veggies w/ it like the green giant single serving veggies. Just an idea. They also have about 20-25 gr of protein and about 4-5 gr of carbs. Hope it helps!

I'm surprised you haven't become such the food snob that I am.  I absolutely loathe processed foods like that.    I even get pissed off when I recognize at a restaurant that I was served something processed.  So, the best I can offer is something like meatballs.  Mix them with mushroom soup and sour cream for sweadish style.  Mix with BBQ or some butter and hotsauce.  That's about as far as I'll go for anything frozen and processed (speaking from the gal who has two kinds of meat thawing right now to make homemade meatballs tonight for dinner).

This may be a blasphemous thought for a single dude - but have you considered making something scrumptious in a large enough quantity  to portion out meals for the week?  My father does that for himself (fellow food snob).

I just don't have time to cook. I'm tired of roasted ((or fried chickens, I'd love to cook for myself, but I'm working all the time these days. Yes weight loss has allowed me to become a work-a-holic. I just don't have time to cook.

Thanks for the meatball suggestion. I haven't done those in a while, I use to do them with BBQ sauce and sugar free grape jelly.
