Semi-Newbie, 12 Days Out

Had surgery in Pasadena, CA at Huntington Memorial with Dr. Keshishian. Last week was awful--a lot of pain--this week much better, but I'm very exhausted. This is typical for me with anesthesia. My final drain is still leaking, and everything tastes like @$$, but I'm down 13 pounds and my blood glucose is trending downward. Hooray!

I tried to upload an Avatar, but after 3 compressions I surrendered. Another time.

Way to go!! I'm just starting my research and it's awesome to hear that you're doing so well, it gives me hope

Congrats. The first couple of weeks are the hardest physically as you are healing. I was always taking afternoon naps.

Stupid drains - mine leaked a lot too. It was arelief to get it out.

All better from here! Remember to drink.
