How much food at 9 months?

So this may sound like a total noob question, but I'm really starting to get my appetite back at 9 months. I just ate two scrambled eggs with small pieces of chicken, and was able to complete the meal.

is this normal? I notice some folks are drinking shakes instead of eating good- is that so your stomach doesn't grow?

For me it varies...at 10 mths out there are days where i can eat more than others but they are few between. If I eat very slowly and space my bites over a longer period of time i may finish as you say 2eggs etc. But i try to avoid that. I give myself 15 min to eat then i'm done.

I think the other problem I have is that I tend to eat fast. I pretty much slammed the eggs and honestly I'm still feeling a bit hungry 45 minutes later.

I think it is normal... I have days I can eat 2 eggs as well with some bacon. Then there are days I'm still stuffed with two bites. I still do a mixture of shakes and real food to get all of my protein in.

Starting at about 7 months I could eat a normal serving of meat and veggies but that was about it!

It depends on the heaviness of what I eat. Things like eggs I can eat more. Things like meats I can eat less.

Some days, I feel like I can't get enough food in fast enough....like, I feel hungry every 1 1/2-2 hours (yesterday). Other days, (today) I can't be bothered. Nothing is appealing to me. I just made a beautiful pot roast, and can't even bring myself to eat it. Oh well. Tomorrow.....
