Salt
I have officially been on my week one post op of liquids only. The fluids intake isn't hard, it's the range of flavors. I have never been a "sweet" girl. I have always liked things on the salty and spicy side. I was wondering if there were any suggestions to a saltier fluid rather than fruity and chocolaty. I normally become a sea salt monster around my menstrual cycle, and that should be occurring any time now.
Any suggestions will help. Any more fruit and chocolate and I'm going to turn into a chocolate covered fruitloop.
Chicken or beef bouillon with unflavored protein powder added to it?
Wendy's chili with added unflavored protein powder? Puree first and make it a liquid if you're being told to stay on full liquids a little longer.
Egg drop soup. Hot and sour soup. Easy Chinese take out.

Any canned soups that you like. Make them a soupy consistency and put them in the blender or food processor.

I"m surprised you're on liquids, for they had me eating soft foods the day I left the hospital. If you can do nearly-soft, try ricotta cheese with a dab of tomato sauce and some gooey melted cheese. It's not quite liquid, but darned close, and should make the salt lover smile.
