Happy Saturday Everyone, it is 60 F it is Cold here, Gina bbq, I am jealous.

Bites: 

Chocolate shake with 1/2 banana and tsp of pb

Orange

2 slices of garlic sausage and 2 slices of cheese with a garlic pickle - boss noticed all the garlic :)

Salad 

Strawberry shake with 2 strawberries

Chips and diet pop

2 pieces chicken, rice and beans

ice cream cone

Vites: all in

Exercites: 2x today at 30 min each

Feelings: going to be a busy day at work but the time will fly and I am feeling pretty positive

 

Side note: I am one day behind so this was my Friday. I am glad it is Saturday I work til 3pm but at least I have a day off exercise. And I am not sure what is on this list of what I ate but I am backed up this morning and it is not a good feeling, hopefully this to shall pass :)

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

I hope you feel better. I'm looking forward to the BBQ. This guy supposedly came in 3rd in a BBQ competition. We'll see. :)

What do you put in your protein coffee?

Protein Coffee 

brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)

In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy! 

Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping. 

Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

BBQ sounds like fun.  I didn't go out in the end as I had some chicken in the fridge that I had to use.

Hi Gina,
Winter storm with ice and freezing rain moving in. Plan to stay in tomorrow.
My labs got coded for post Bariatric surgery and the insurance company denied them. Plan to call the office Monday and see if they will recode them. It's about $500+

Not a good protein day

L: cheese nacho's

D: ham and Swiss quiche

E: housework and laundry until we los****er pressure.....plan to finish tomorrow

I drank a protein lemon tea last night to boost my protein, DH tasted it and thought it was good, too

Everything is shut down due to ice!
