How much protein should a female be eating at 3 months out?

I have been getting in about 100 grams of protein total daily- between shakes and food. Believe it or not my albumin was worse prior to surgery. Now it's still below normal by one point but it was even lower prior so I think that's pretty good.

What you might want to do is work real hard for 3 - 6 months on your protein via shakes. Do about 4 to 5 - 30 gram shakes spread throughout the day. Have your labs done and see if you can bring your albumin up into the 4s and your prealbumin up to the top of the range. Albumin and prealbumin are even better protein and nutrition indicators than protein serum. It's good, but you want to look at all 3 labs.

Your nut isn't taking into account the malabsorption.  Count on only keeping around half of what you consume, so 100g is almost getting you what she's suggesting.  Nutritionists usually are clueless about the DS and how it differs.  They will bundle you into a generic "wls" category.
