Happy Sunday, well we have a new week ahead of us, and we have an opportunity to try something new for the week, that is what I like to do, reflect on the past week and see what worked for me and if I want to make some changes. This past week was pretty good for me, I have cut down on most of my portion sizes, which has been good, my exercise has been very consistent and I have been feeling positive most of the week. So this week what will my focus be??? I'll share that tomorrow:)

Bites:

Strawberry protein shake - what I changed last week- whole cup of almond milk instead of 1/2 cup almond milk and 1/2 cup water

1/2 bagel with laughing cow wedge and chocolate protein shake with 1 banana and 1 tbsp on pb

6 chicken nuggets and fries and pop - McDonald's after work- had to go shopping and I was hungry - shared with hubby but I did eat most of it, I can not tell a lie

1 1/2 tomatoes, I just sliced them up they were getting to the if I don't eat them now stage I don't get to eat them

couple handfuls of carmal popcorn

small bowl of ww spag and 3 meatballs with sauce - just couldn't eat very much so some got thrown away.

2 small chocolates

Vites: all in

Exercites: NOTHING WOO HOO - day off

Feelings: I have a slight pull on my right leg that I have been trying to rest, so I am a little sore, and I am a little tired from being so busy. I am lucky I enjoy my job because yesterday was tough. Busy because of the cold weather.

I am really proud of myself for the past week

I went out to dinner with DH tonight - yippee. The shops look so pretty in the evening when their lights illuminate a dark rainy evening.

The low carb custard I made, exploded everywhere and now I have a couple of small blisters on my chin due to the scald. I've never had that happen before, it exploded about a minute after the microwave finished!!  DH said I should've stopped the microwave and stirred the custard... oh well, you live and learn!!

B Protein shake (30)
S Yogurt (5)
L Chili w grated cheese (35)
S Low carb custard (10)
D Chicken & goat's cheese salad (30)

Protein total (110)
F 72+
V All in (inc 7 calcium batches) nightime iron, vit C & copper & strontium batches pending

Ouch! Burns like that are the worst. My DIL's mother brought me some aloe vera gel from Taiwan that I keep in the kitchen for grease splatters and steam burns, etc.

So far just snow, no ice, thank goodness. Temps are supposed to drop to single digits this afternoon though. You guys stay safe a warm too. Just because you live above the Mason-Dixon doesn't make you super woman in the snow and ice.  ;)
