Bites: 

Strawberry Shake

Banana

yogurt

noodles and ham

couple of chocolates - 3 cheezies

cashews

bit of popcorn and small container of chips (single serving)

salmon sandwich wit 3 slices of brick cheese

protein bar

4 crackers with cheese

2 pretzels 

Vites: all in

Exercises: 30 min workout designed by trainer

Feelings: discouraged I am eating to much, has a lot to do with working late, I started watching a tv series which I hope takes my mind off food, so not to happy with the amounts I am eating, and I am not losing weight, it was weigh day today and I am up a pound, so that sucks. Ok back on track, I need to be making better choices. Glad it is my last shift tonight, I will start fresh tomorrow. Saturday is a day off exercise but I think I will watch my eating.

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

What is protein coffee?

It is coffee w/ cream, 1/2 'n' 1/2, what ever you desire and protein powder mixed in. Think of it as Starbucks on steroids. Yummy.

I'm assuming unflavored powder.. what name brand would you recommend and does it leave an after taste or gritty feel to the drink.

I never tried unflavored protein powder. Must put it on my "try it" list. I used vanilla, chocolate, or a mix of the two in my coffee.

Here's mine.

Protein Coffee 

brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)

In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy! 

Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping. 

Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

Had to work at my far away property today. Drove the 42 miles home before the snow got too bad.

Cube steak w/ slice provolone cheese

few home fries

tossed salad w/ blue cheese dressing

double protein decaf coffee

2 PC of candy from my Valentine heart

vites: behind in my schedule. Several batches to go b/4 bed

fluids: 100 oz. by bedtime
