drains out monday, still leaking??

Hello everyone, I had one drain out on Monday from a surgery last thrusday and im still leaking, is this normal?

Yes, many have a little leakage until more heals on the inside. Keep the area as clean and dry as you can.

A sanitary napkin makes the best bandage for those residual leaks.  Mine only lasted a few days...less than a week after the drains were out.

When my drain was removed Mine leaked for over a week.... I called the office a few times and was told to keep it covered..... Mine was pouring out! I was soaking gauze within 30 min.... I went to the store and bought suture stripes that helped close it and then kept it bandaged with thick gauze and tape for almost 2 weeks... It was a pain... only because if I did not change the gauze fast enough my clothing would get soaked....I hope yours heals faster and leaks less than mine.... Good luck!

Mine leaked from around the tube even before they took the tube out. The leaking lasted another 4 or 5 days after that.
