Hi all I had another question again, sorry. Okay does anyone drink fluids when they eat? I was told not to and to wait 30 minutes after I eat to drink anything. I know why it's important for bypass patients, but does it make a difference for us?
That's RNY advice, the only reason for us not to drink while we eat is if the liquids are taking up food room. You are perfectly ok to take sips while you eat. You have a pyloric valve to keep the food from being washed down into your intestines.
