Vitamins and Minerals

Has anyone heard of Mauliluca ( not quite spelled right) It is suppose to be a product that is very well absorbed - unfortunately they really don't sell a lot of the supplements we need except a multi and a liquid omega. I usually buy my stuff at Walmart and Costco - and my labs are good. The thing is  could I do better, by having better quality supplements. I also checked Vitalady regarding the prepackaged stuff and it doesn't give me enough information, like is the Vit. D what concentrate is it? I need 50,000 - still an area that has not improved for me and I am taking hers. I was taking 9  gel caps of 1000 each and my vit d level was 42, I have been taking  50,000 of vitaladys for 2 months and my labs were 42 so no change, Not sure what to do with that, do I order more or just go back to what I was taking, just not sure. I am missing a lot of of vit that you guys take and I am concerned. I have never ordered Vitalady's prepackaged vit and I am wondering if I should give that a try, or leave well enough alone:)

Confused on what to do, a little tweeking or a complete change?

I would increase Vitalady's D3 50,000 to 100,000 a day for 3 months and then go back to 50,000. If you can retest the D3 at 3 months after you switch and go back to 50,000 a day, you may be able to tell better if you're absorbing D3 at all. If your D3 comes up after taking 100,000 IUs a day, then you could take 100,000 IUs every other day and take 50,000 on the off days.

I like Vitalady's basic pre-package for folks just starting out and haven't been supplementing before surgery, but long term post-ops really need to go by their labs and buy what you need. For example, you may not need to take the B-complex that comes in her pre-package. If you want to send me a copy of your last full set of labs and what you're taking now, I might be able to help you tweak your vitamins so that you can stick with most of what you're already doing and only make minor adjustments. I can send you my email on personal message if you'd like to send me documents.

The same stuff is in her unpackaged vits, so take a look at that for more details.

My vitamin D was chronically low reaching a high of 27.  I started taking Vitalady's dry 50,000iu (3 capsules at 150,000iu/day) and my last labs rose to 87.  I'm very excited and happy about this and will keep at this level now that I found what works.

I have heard of Melaleuka.  It is the name of a company much like Amway.   I took their vites in the distant past, they worked very well, but I was not switched at the time.
