Bella, the thread that I posted above, took place shortly before I was a member here. There are numerous links in the thread. Read them all. There is a tremendous amount of guidance here that comes deep within many hearts. Don't make a decision to go ahead with your surgery until you read it all. In the end, the choice is yours.

Instead of reading and researching, she's decided to leave OH so she can bury her head in the sand. Why would people want to take such risks with their lives?? I'm not saying anything will happen, but why not go in to surgery with eyes wide open and peace of mind??

I can honestly say, when I had my DS, I was not scared. I was so excited! If you had the right surgeon, you would be giddy with excitement, and we here would all be cheering you on! That's how this surgery should be. You are scared because you do not have faith in your surgeon. Nor should you.

I just read a story on another board, about a gentlemen who had the DS, but best they can tell, because of years of some RX drug injections, he had major complications. This is the shortened version. Had he not been in the hands of an experienced surgeon, he knows he would have died.

When I was pregnant, my dr wanted to give me the triple test, which tests for "abnormalties." I said no. We werent going to terminate the pregnancy regardless of the results. My dr told me the test was important, because if there was a problem with the baby, they would be better prepared to provide the care the baby needed immediately upon birth.

Is your surgeon prepared to provide you with excellent care if their are complications? How many complications has he dealt with? Go to Dr. K in California. He deals with the highest risk patients and has seen it all. He is not only in a strongly skilled to perform your surgery, but also has dealt with all kinds of complications. Your revision surgery has the highest risk of complications. You need a surgeon who not only performs the surgery, but also knows best how to handle complications.

Sad to see you leave, but no one has power over decision except you. I am hoping you will get an email alert and read this post. It will be my last one on this topic as there is nothing more I can say. Best wishes.

You can find many vitamins at Walmart, but not all of them, and especially not at the dosages we need.
