Marsian death flu... (rant)

4 weeks out, Luckily first week alone with my 3 munchkins (5, 2, and 2).

Unfortunately, I was sick for the 2 months leading up to my operation (couldn't stand without passing out kind of sick), so we never got our flu shots...

we have 104 degree fevers all round, I wanted not to be picking the children up until 6 weeks, but hah.

Yesterday it was just the 5 year old and me who were sick, I got all my protein, vitamins, and fluid in.  I was excited.  Today I haven't eaten anything.  Just been holding crying toddlers all day and drinking water.

It's feeling like breastfeeding all over again, I don't feel like I can get up because I'm not supposed to be picking them up (plus I ache all over).

Sorry for moaning, I just needed to rant.

Are we still allowed to take cough medicines?  I imagine so, waiting on an e-mail from my doctor.  I finally caved and had a tylenol tonight, it helped, but only a little.

What I really want is this.

I'm sorry you and your munchkins are having such a bad time of it. Be sure to take care of yourself or you won't be able to take care of anyone else.

Could be...it's going around in my area and there are reports of deaths on the local news every night. take care of yourself, and to anyone else reading this who hasn't already, get your flu shot!!

Thanks Larra.

It's been a very rough week.  I did eat some 'bad' foods, just to get something down because I was losing the battle and could hardly stand, let alone take care of the kids. Luckily my husband helped take over and I got the rest and protein in that I needed.

Still very sick but I think I see the end in sight.
