good day Gina,
I am one day behind, so for yesterday
Chocolate protein shake
2 egg omelet and fruit cup (restaurant)
nuts 55 g package
grapes
Salad with greek dressing
protein bar
chocolate shake
meat sandwich
I have been working til 11 pm then stayed at work to visit and eat the sandwich then, I was a bit hungry by 11:30. I am still very excited about the change in eating, I didn't have pop or chips or chocolate and at work we still have Christmas chocolate so temptation is there, darn it.
Vites: all in
Exercites: 1/2 hour weight training, it is a dvd that has one day cardio and the next weight training, I really like it.
Feelings: good I feel positive and excited about some different stuff this week, hubby and I have a boot camp budget tomorrow night, that will be great and I have three days off this weekend and I might go get the grand kids, I miss them and I love taking them swimming and stuff, so that has me looking forward to the week.
Gina thanks for having this forum it is helpful.
Susan
Excellent! Stay focused. : ) Only a few days to create a new habit.

I feel you about the exercites - I nearly didn't get to have lunch today I was soo busy - back to back meetings, not coz I forgot!!
I just upped my magnesium citrate as I wasn't doing the 2:1 ratio - I was just doing 300mg as per Vitalady's starter pack with 1,800 calcium (and then I added extra calcium)... I'm upping the magnesium slowly as I don't want any accidents, but hopefully it'll reflect in next months labs (unlikely in next week's dexa though). Meh - the only way is up, so I'm happy.

Good idea to increase the mag cit. I take one of Vitalady's mag cit capsules with every calcium dose. No issues so far. Good luck on your dexa scan.

Protein Coffee
brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)
In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy!
Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping.
Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

Hi Gina - I'm sorry that you are stuck in a conference all day. Often my day is back to back meetings and it's a real challenge.
I'm down 3 pounds this past week since rededicating to low carb! Woo-hoo! 6 more to lose the holiday regain... ugh.
Bites
B - Pot of tea with heavy whipping cream
B - Greek yogurt w/slivered almonds
S - Celery with cream cheese
L - 5 oz left over rib eye over mashed cauliflower and sautéed mushrooms
S - Prosciutto mozzarella role with sliced veggies
D - TBD - but leaning towards cheese & bacon omelett with low carb Hollandaise sauce and a salad on the side
S - Protein shake made with half almond mild and half heavy whipping cream
Vites - on it!
Cites - deep water aerobics with my hubs. Yes - he has discovered water aerobics and now loves it! I can't wait for the hot tub at the end of class... sigh.
Back to back, all day long meetings reminds me of my tour at the Pentagon. Grab a coffee or a granola bar and run to the next meeting. Never saw sun light during much of the year.
Sounds like you're doing great ! Keep up the good work. You can do it!
