What does Dr. Wilson say? He or his insurance person should be able to help.

The patient advocate should call me back tomorrow to discuss the plan and I talk to the doctor in 2 weeks. I guess I'm planning for the worse, LOL

What ar your thoughts on the doctor you chose.  I see he is also in Houston, maybe I can schedule a consult there as well.

My heart goes out to you all in the US where you have to struggle with insurance to get this life saving surgery. Anyhow, this being said, I just want to throw this out there, don't know if it would work but......what if you carry some discreet weights in your pocket at your weigh in. That is the advice I gave my sister who consulted a Dr. who usually requires a mid 40 ish BMI and she was just short of that. It worked! Best of luck to you. P,S, I am in no way minimizing your dilemma, it is the only solution i can think of.

I had Cigna and they said it was up to my company to approve. They would not. Went w/ my wifes plan and they said I had to be a BMI of 50 and I was 47 so I puts wieghts under my clothes and it was 51 BMI at the Dr office

Can/would you explain what the TOGO is? I don't think I've ever heard of that.
