I totally got away with the cheesecake yesterday (well a little gas, but I seem to have some in the evenings regardless of what I eat). Anyways this morning I was constipated big time, I had to do an enema even (sorry TMI). My skin's too oily so I know I'm getting in plenty of fat and now carbs don't do the trick, hmm... I give up!! I'll mention it to my consultant when I see him next month coz he likes to ask about the poopie situation.
I'm wondering if my bad skin is due to low vitamin A. I'll get to find out next month (well maybe March for the results). Depending on how I do I may have to see if I can get that one done more frequently as my PCP refuses to do vit A.. BTW I'm on 100,000 dry vitamin A a la Vitalady.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Medicals go into shock if they find a DSr has constipation issues. It goes totally against their text books. Vitamin A has a way of getting too high and staying there a long time. Best to get it tested yearly at a minimum.

Cold weather has passed.
Well, I'll stop my whining,......down 9 since starting my low carbing. It definitely feels like dieting, though
Been having problems with feeling wek, dizzy and shaky. Figure it's low blood sugar, not enough carbs or Low BP. Decided to add s few carbs back
B: bacon, protein shake
L: chilli, 4 saltines with butter
S: Greek yogurt with blueberries and pecans
D: meatballs, salad, 4 croutons
V: done
F: ok
E: none....will get back into the bike soon
Down 9 pounds? Awesome! If you're going to add a some carbs make them good healthy ones, like your Greek yogurt with blueberries and pecans. Happy for you though.

I would continue probiotics while vitamin fasting for labs.
Good job today. I love Mary Janes. Not too sweet.
