The soup was a hit with my son and DIL. They took some home with them.

Meh, Tunisia.  It's less than a 3 hour flight and it's good value for money - we're gonna have to vary soon though as we need to go somewhere different ;-)

Hi Gina,
Back to work tomorrow.
Started my major cutback today. Through out all the junk food. Unfortunately. I'm not convinced that the low carb thing will really work for me. Think I'm about 20gm today

B: bacon, protein shake
L: egg salad
S: deli ham
S: deviled egg
D: bacon wrapped shrimp and jack cheese, lettuce wedge
S: will do another protein shake if I get hungry

V: done
F: more than enough....adding a couple cups of green tea
E: 20min on the bike, took down all the Christmas stuff and straightened the house

I think it took a couple of weeks of low carbing and some low overall calories to kick my last little bit of weight loss into gear. Your Bites look on target.  : )

Hi All,

Kind folks responded to my post asking for help. I'm 3+ years out and REGAINING! Several responses I received recommended I post here for advice on what I might be able to do to lose about 20 lbs that I've regained. My close are almost too tight so I need help fast .. ;o)

BITES:

B - 2 cups Colby and Cheddar cheese melted, protein shake, coffee.

L - 9oz Filet with bacon, sautéed spinach, coffee, tea with splenda

D - 2 cups Colby and cheddar melted, 6oz black cherry Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup chopped pecans

VITES:

done (except bed time)

EXERCITES:

No formal exercise today, rejoining Y tomorrow

Also, any recommendations on a good tasting high protein low/no carb powder would be greatly appreciated. I've been using the GNC high protein, no carb Brand but it is getting where I can no longer tolerate the taste.

Thank you!

Glad to have you here.  You can do this but you might need to go hunting for hidden carbs in your diet. They put sugar in everything processed, so read your labels.

I like Syntrax Nectar protein. It's whey protein isolate and the flavors are awesome. I use the vanilla for protein coffee and chocolate and strawberry mousse for lunchtime shakes. Vitamin Shoppe carries it and I also buy it from Vitalady.
