Not losing

"I can eat what I want when I want with no problems."

WHY are you eating whatever you want?? Testing the waters is dangerous. WLS is not magic. We have to follow the rules to be successful.

I can eat what I want when I want, but with only one problem.  If I do that my weight will not stay in control.  You may have that problem and will have to only eat specific things in controlled amounts in order to lose more weight

If "eating what I want when I want with no problems" means eating sugar carbs and very little protein, then that's the root of your problem.  You need to eat dense protein FIRST, such as meat, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, etc. Sugar carbs should be eliminated from the DS diet.

I am a virgin DSer and had lost 20# by my first follow-up and only 1# at my second one.  The doctor was not concerned with the slower weight loss.  I went on to lose more than 120#.  I have another 40# I want to lose.

I was told by the dr that there would be lots of food that I would not be able to eat, either due to diarrhea, vomiting, or nausea. But I don't have any of those issues. He also said I should have a bm about 3-4 times throughout the day. That's what gets rid of the access fat/calories. But I only ever have them of the morning when I get up and that's it. ???

You're less than 2 months out from your surgery -- you should be sticking to high protein/low carbs as much as possible. There is no need to test lots of foods to see if you have problems with them.

And I don't think BMs get rid of the excess fat/calories. I have 1-2 BMs every 1-2 days -- that's about it. 3-4 per day seems excessive to me.
