Lap bander seriously considering DS

I had a band put in in 07 and then had a revision to a bigger band in 09. After many complications and regaining all my weight with the second band my doctor suggested the DS. I had my revision in May of this year and have lost 71 pounds to date. (I'm a light weight) I love being able to eat and not worry about getting stuck or puking every day. It is the best decision I have ever made and I wish I would have known about it sooner. Good luck with your decision!

Over on the Revision forum there's a post or two that list all the vetted RNY-to-DS surgeons. Going from a Band to a DS isn't nearly as difficult, but any of those guys would be at the top of my list if I was in your situation.
