There is Dr. Sharma in Jacksonville, FL. who does the DS.

I've never heard of Dr. Rosenthal as a DS surgeon etiher, and I've been on this and other DS related sites for about 8 years.

As to Dr. H, if he has recently performed a DS on someone, it's news to me. I thought he had stopped doing them years ago, and I haven't seen any posts by anyone saying he did their DS. And esp given that you are looking towards a revision, an experienced DS surgeon who does the DS on a regular basis and who is known to have good results is the only way to go.

Kdiva:  You are mistaken.  Dr Hoddinott does not perform the DS revision from RNY, or the DS.  Nor do the other two surgeons you mentioned.

To the Original Poster:  You need to listen to a veteran such as Larra when looking into weight loss surgeons.  Larra knows her stuff.

I.  am.  not.  a.  doctor.

I read these threads but never commented because I have no information to offer. I was quite surprised to see threads removed as well. My guess is that this site has "special" relationships with doctors, and someone said something about one of those doctors that the site didnt like. It has been a complaint in the past that because of the site's relationships with its docs, that information about a doc can get filtered. My guess is that is what happened here. Follow Larra's advice. She will lead you well.

I think they removed them because of references to DS Facts.  I don't understand this as DS FActs is a non-profit, you don't have to join to read and there are NO members or forums so it takes away nothing from OH.
