Hi guys!  Got my annual labs back and the hospital just didn't do my CMP, so now I have to get re-drawn and wait to find out my protien levels.  Grrr!  But my pre-albumin came back at 30.1 (17-34) so I'm guessing my protein and albumin will be well within normal range :)  Got my D up to 63 (38 pre-op).  My ferritin is 134 and iron 79.  And all my vitamins are the mid-normal range (except for some high B vitamin levels).  So I'm pretty happy with that.  But I don't take nearly as many supplements as some people, I don't get 100g of protein, and I don't take any iron besides what's in my multi.  So I must be a super-absorber.  That's probably why I can drink milk and eat carbs.  Double-edged sword I suppose  *sigh*.

B1- 1/2 can tuna mixed with mayo and relish. 4 Ritz crackers

S- 4 cheese cubes, sm handful of cashews

B2- 3 sausage links, glass of whole milk

S-zone protien bar

L- cheddar brat (no bun), pickle spear dipped in ranch

D- Toppings from 2 slices of pepperoni pizza dipped in ranch, few bites of crust (trying to be good!)

Double-edged sword sounds like a good analogy. Be careful.

Yep I know exactly what you mean Gina.  I pretty much knew with my labs every 3 months that I was absorbing much more than most DSers.  And I lack the ill-effects from carbs that most people have.  But I know I don't absorb much fat...I'm sure you can guess HOW I know this lol.  I just need to get out of this 'good one day, bad the next day' cycle I've been in.  I also think exercise will really help.  I'm young and healthy and have no excuse not to be exercising consistently.

My intention is to not eat the crust so it doesn't bother me. Not so sure about the hubs though ;-) The 26th is a public holiday in the UK .
