3 Month Update + Labs
Hey yall! I'm really bad about posting on time!
After 3 months, I'm no longer nauseous, I have much more energy, and the reality of my DS actually working is setting in, and I LIKE IT!!! I'm now down 71lbs, and I have to admit, I wasn't sure this was gona work for me. When I had the RNY..I did everything right, but I had to earn every single pound! I mean, I worked at it right from the beginning, and soon I was working out 6-7 days a week, and it took me over a year to get to 71lbs, so even though I was excited about the DS, I was skeptical too! I've gone from a size 24/26 to sz 18, and I almost have visual collar bones again..lol! I still stop in the mirror just to make sure it's really me i'm seeing, and get on the scale over and over..to see if the number will change..cuz i just can't believe it!
Here are my 2 month labs (i know..i shuda posted them a month a go). I did my best to copy them from the results emails, they come on separate lines..it's annoying! Anyway, I hope someone can help me figure them out! Thanks in advance!

What's the range for calcium? I see 2.3, is that correct?
Is there a PTH (parathyroid hormone)?
What was the D3 level?
Osteocalcin is a little high. That's why I ask about calcium, D3 and PTH. You want your D3 high, and your PTH and Osteocalcin low but within range.
Your protein, albumin and prealbumin look great as do your AST and ALT.
Ferritin looks pretty low and I don't see iron serum or hemoglobin or hematocrit.
I think you can cut back on your B12 a little. Maybe every other day.
What are the ranges for B1? Did they run B6?
All in all not too bad.
