I took some cheese in to work and forgot all about it... oh well that leaves more for tomorrow!! ;-)

I finally resorted to taking some Miralax - I've taken a couple of batches now so hopefully it'll get to working.  Don't worry I don't have an obstruction, but I'm not happy on going just once a day... I blame my recent problems on those evil painkillers as nothing's really changed in my diet and constipation is definitely a listed side effect :-S

Isn't that the strangest thing? You get used to your system behaving one way and knowing what you can and can't do, then it decides to change things up on you. {sigh} 

Mmmm...burnt crust chicken pie.  lol  Nope!

how do you make your protein coffee? i tried my whey isolate in my coffee and ruined the whole cup ack! do you use calcium chews? ive talked to you last year...i cant remember :)

Protein Coffee 

brew a pot of your favorite coffee - we like chocolate raspberry (you can also brew chai tea and use in place of coffee)

In a 20 oz blender bottle with wire ball, add 2 oz of heavy whipping cream and 2 oz of cool water, or 4 oz of half & half, a packet of Truvia or Splenda, a couple of dashes of cinnamon, and a heaping scoop of Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein powder.
Shake about 5 seconds to blend
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with coffee
Sir to blend and enjoy! 

Always add hot liquid to cold protein slurry to keep the protein from clumping. 

Always check the ingredients of a protein powder before you buy it to ensure the first ingredient listed is whey protein isolate. Don't trust the splashy label on the front.

 

I don't use calcium chews very often but I think they are good for folks that like to change up their sources of calcium during the day. I few doses of capsules, chews and powder....not a thing wrong with that.  :)

Gina, do you have your protein coffee recipe saved, or do you have to type it out each time someone asks for it? Wish I had a dollar for each time You posted it over the years. LOL
