Hi Gina,

I am having a hard time to be accountable for my choices over the holiday season, as in my house we have been eating chocolates and shortbread cookies and ya  tarts.

I am still doing shakes for breakfast and I will do a meat sandwich for lunch and I will even have ham and cheese and pickles

It is the other stuff that is killing me - I have been sick with gas, bloat and sitting lots.

So I started out good this morning lets hope I continue with some smart choices and let my stomach have a break. I will be excited when Christmas is over because of the food.

I will try to check in tonight with the details of what I ate today.

Hope you are having a wonderful day, temperature here is wonderful, lots of snow but finely warming up a bit -48 with wind chill was just a bit to cold for me.

I appreciate your support about the councilor, I am seeing one at my church, not sure if it is a good fit but the next six months will be good, as least I will be seeing someone.

Susan

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

At least you're still coming here and you're aware of what you're doing.

Re food I'm going to get more cheese and nuts in to help me over the festive period so I have healthy stuff on hand to snack on.

I wish your family would make the connection that those carby sweets are killing your stomach. : (   Try what Huneypie suggests and buy yourself some cheeses and nuts.

Chicken pot pie sounds so good! I had one at a restaurant after shopping this summer and it had such a flaking yummy crust....not suppose to eat that but it was so good.
