I'm having my DS Monday the 16th, I'm so excited, and very nervous and scared. I've had butterflies fluttering for the last few days. I know I'll be fine and I totaly trust my surgeon, but I can't help but feel scared. Any ideas or thoughts of what I can do to calm down a bit? AAAHHHHHH

My mood would swing from excited to nervous in the days leading to surgery. It is quite normal. The second they were reeling me in to surgery I was sooooo scared.

7 Months later: I'M SO GRATEFUL AND PROUD TO HAVE TAKEN THE LEAP.

You will be ASTOUNDING!!!! You've made a courageous choice that you will ultimately adore.

It's ok to be nervous, as long as you walk into that OR knowing that you've made the best possible decision for yourself. You've chosen the most effective bariatric surgery available with a recognized, experienced DS surgeon.
