Question about Magnesium Citrate

I have a question that I'm kind of worried about...I drank my Magnesium Citrate at 3:00 as directed by my Dr.  It is now 5:00 and it has not kicked in yet. How long does it take to start working?  I'm worried it won't hit me until tomorrow which would not be good seeing how my surgery is at 6AM!!!

Give it another couple of hours. How much did you drink?

It was a 10oz bottle

Drink lots of water to help start the flush out and to also help keep you hydrated.

I think I drank mine about the same time you did, along with 16 oz. of water.

It's kicked in, but not like I expected.  It's been very gentle, but it appears to be working. Of course, I've only had a small amount of solid food over the last week or so, so I'm not sure there's a whole lot there to work with. :)

Mines started working the morning of surgery. My surgery was at 730 I had to be at the hospital at 530. It decided to work at 6. I was so embarrassed. It was so freaking stinky.
