I had surgery outside the US. I have the video of the entire surgery, but no surgical report.

If you can get the soft food down and that is in your plan. I would follow it.But I meant slow down drinking your water.I used to be able to drin**** cold drinks but now I can't it hurts my tummy. It is amazing how our bodies change.I thought after my surgeon went in there he didn't do anything.I felt normal except not being hungry. It was a weird feeling.

That's almost exactly how I feel! Except I do get hungry when my stomach is very empty, like first thing in the morning. It's how hunger felt to me as a child. I can honestly say I haven't felt that kind of hunger as an adult until surgery. That's what's weird to me. Otherwise, it really does feel like my surgeon didn't do anything! I know he did though because I can take now 3 gulps of water when before surgery I could take 10. I don't actually take big gulps, but it's weird to me that I can while most others at this stage are still working on sips. At any rate, I felt so good after surgery that I do believe I've progressed too fast and it can't hurt to back up to soups and liquids for a few days then progressing to soft foods, then puréed foods for a few weeks. I have a tendency to jump into things with both feet, but in this case, it's smarter to take it slow.
